House Buyers of America is looking for an Accounting Manager who will be responsible in running our accounting department. The Accounting Manager will manage a team while also supporting accounting, human resources, IT and office management. This position is FULLY REMOTE!

What you will do:

• Manage all data entry of general ledger, cash management, account reconciliation, payroll processing, preparation of taxes (payroll, State and federal), and processing of accounts receivable and payable
• Manage the accounting process as well as 3 Staff Accountants
• Prepare financial data for both business and CEO’s personal accounts for our CPA firm to file tax returns
• Prepare reports financial reports such as tracking inventory, cashflow forecasting, job costing, etc.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations and audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial data
• Manage payroll and track bonus and commission plans
• Assist with office management such as ordering supplies, snacks and team lunches
• Assist human resources with onboarding and offboarding employees

About You:

• You have 5 years in a corporate accounting/bookkeeping
• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business
• You have experience working with accounting software such as Timberline or Sage 100
• You have experience in Construction Accounting or Job Costing
