About the role
The Supply Chain Planner will report to the CFO and be part of a tight, entrepreneurial team in a high growth, dynamic business environment. This is for an experienced supply chain professional with strong planning and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage a rolling weekly demand forecast
Coordinate with channel managers to understand expected demand
Validate demand forecast against company Revenue targets.
Monitor Inventory levels at multiple warehouses (including Amazon FBA)
Place weekly orders with the production facility level loading as much as possible
Monitor inventory in transit and coordinate with Customs Broker on required documents
Ensure accurate inventory levels in NetSuite
Planning to support existing products and and a steady flow of new product introductions
Identify inventory constraints due to lead times, transit times, capacity, holiday shutdowns and component shortages
Provide monthly reporting on KPIs (forecast accuracy, inventory turns)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business or other related field
2 years experience in supply chain planning, preferably in the seasonal gift industry
Advanced Excel capabilities
Clear understanding of basic financial and inventory measures: sales, margin, weeks of supply, safety stock, sell through, inventory turns
Strong analytical skills
Able to juggle multiple priorities in a faced-paced, dynamic environment
Experience with NetSuite a plus
