Description The Tax Accountant III exercises control over the preparation and maintenance of tax records and information used in completing tax returns. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares the most complex tax returns and related reports and analysis. May oversee tax audits, responds to tax auditors and keeps senior management informed of audit status. Researches tax laws and communicates conclusions to management. Implements procedures to comply with new tax laws. Assumes most complex tax research, tax planning and tax compliance responsibilities. Responsible for reviewing other colleagues' compliance work. Performs other duties as assigned.
