Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. Your duties will include performing various cleaning tasks, ensuring proper floor care, and assisting with facilities maintenance.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including restrooms, offices, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean windows and glass surfaces
- Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor plumbing issues
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
- Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding cleanliness and hygiene
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing is a plus
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks is beneficial
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
