Job DescriptionTo expand our US team Hug Engineering is looking for a Finance & Administration Manager who will be responsible for finance and controlling activities as well as administration and human resources within Hug Engineering USA.
This candidate would possess strong finance and controlling skills as well as HR mindset. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must demonstrate outstanding communication skills in order to fulfill the highest standard of customer expectation and internal targets of Hug Engineering. He or she will demonstrate the ability to reach across departmental boundaries to satisfy internal needs as well as supporting the general manager with all required financial support steering the business unit.
ResponsibilitiesFinance
  • Provide reliable financial and controlling information
    • Assist in monthly controlling and reporting activities
    • Assist in monthly accounting journal entry process and collaborate with Accounting team (external support)
  • Assist in implementing Hug Engineering procedures and processes
    • Implement controlling procedures and processes for HUG Engineering, and anticipate needs based on the company growth curve for US Sales
    • Participate in financial forecasting processes, providing data for budget, periodic forecast, Monthly Business Reviews, etc.
    • Contribute to the control and management of the business unit’s performance
  • Ensure compliance to all financial and human resource procedures
    • Develop, execute, and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization in accordance with HUG Group procedures and policies
    • Ensure site activities are compliant with Hug Engineering finance and HR related procedures and internal control basics
  • Act as a business partner toward the controlling community and finance accounting team
    • Take part to the month-end closing process (forecast, actuals, reporting)
    • Support business profitability analytics for first-fit, retro-fit and aftersales segments
HR & Administration

    • Recruitment activities for local needs such as Service Technicians, Sales, etc.
    • Office Management activities
    Job Requirements
    • University or Business School with a Finance degree or Master’s degree in Finance
    • 5 years’ experience in finance/controlling and/or in HR department, preferably in industrial environment.
    • Proficient with MS Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
    • US Labor law knowledge is beneficial.
    • Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and have great organizational skills.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
    • International mindset
