GLC is hiring RN-Psych in Columbia Falls, Montana

• 13 weeks contract
• Shifts: 5 8’s = 40H/ Week, 2p-10:30p possible OT
• Start Date: 6/3
• RTO: not allowed
• Exp: Min 3 years of recent Psych RN experience
• Lics / Certs / Exp Required: Valid MT/Compact RN License w/ Long term care experience
• Having CPI Card is a plus!

Travel- $41hr/$85 OT /$1,162 Non Taxable Stipend
=$2,802 weekly gross based on 40hrs

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to patients, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure the delivery of high-quality medical services.

- Provides residential, nursing and rehabilitative care for elderly and chronically ill Veterans.

Please be aware that they will need their own vehicle as facility is in a rural area with NO public transportation.

Duties:
- Conduct family planning consultations and provide guidance on reproductive health.
- Perform physical examinations and health assessments to identify patient needs.
- Utilize diagnostic evaluation skills to assess patient conditions accurately.
- Demonstrate proficiency in aseptic techniques during medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Apply physiology knowledge to deliver effective patient care.
- Perform suturing procedures with precision when required.
- Familiarity with coding practices for accurate documentation.
- Experience in nursing home settings is beneficial.
- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications:
- Valid RN license and BLS certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
