Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient information and update medical records using SoftDent
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordinate appointments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Collect patient payments and process insurance claims
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical or Dental Receptionist is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with managing medical records and maintaining patient confidentiality
