This role involves comprehensive involvement in general accounting duties, ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the highest standards of financial management in the department.Responsibilities:• Manage and prepare accounting records and financial reports, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and conform to departmental standards.• Establish, maintain, and input entries into the correct accounts.• Utilize current technologies for document management and maintain accurate financial records.• Develop and distribute forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel.• Keep abreast of current and emerging GAAP and related audit standards, applying this knowledge in daily tasks.• Manage time effectively, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and work with limited supervision.• Communicate financial information and ideas effectively both verbally and in writing.• Exercise judgment and initiative in interpreting policy and guidelines on financial matters.• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks, as well as Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger maintenance, Journal Entries, and Month End Close processes.• Utilize Oracle for various accounting tasks.
