**Job Summary:** We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, assisted living, and hospice care. **Duties:** - Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Monitor and record vital signs - Provide emotional support and companionship - Assist with medication reminders - Help individuals with mobility and perform heavy lifting when necessary - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals - Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents **Experience:** - Previous experience in assisted living, hospice care, or patient care - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures - Ability to work effectively in a team setting - Experience working with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds - Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is a plus - Background in social work, nursing home settings, or related fields is beneficial - Valid driver's license for transportation needs This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others while gaining valuable experience in the healthcare field.
