We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our dynamic team. This exciting position offers the opportunity to play a key role in our organization's financial management, including the planning, implementation, managing, and running of all the finance activities of our company. This includes business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and negotiations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and leadership, with a proven track record of effective financial management.
ResponsibilitiesAs the Permanent Director of Finance, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- Overseeing, directing, and managing the company's financial operations and reporting, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Developing and implementing financial strategies, financial planning, budgeting, and profitability analyses.
- Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
- Evaluating and managing risk, performing profitability analyses, and ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinating the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
- Participating in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner.
- Interacting with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
- Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High proficiency in MS Office and financial management software.
- A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality.
- An excellent negotiator who is experienced in contracts.
