Job Title Production Team Leader
Department: Manufacturing
Job Type: Full Time
Job Status: Salaried Exempt
General Scope of Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations. Coordinate departmental functions to ensure company objectives are achieved. Ensure that departments maintain long-term efforts in improving safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, innovation, and associate engagement.
Specific Responsibilities:

• Actively participate and/or lead weekly production meetings.
• Regularly communicate the site’s vision, progress, goals, etc. to shift associates.
• Actively participate in all safety programs, initiatives & teams.
• Ensure resources are scheduled in each department as needed to accommodate the production schedule.
• Audit departments to ensure teams meet acceptable standards for 5S/housekeeping, quality, on-time delivery, and productivity.
• Make recommendations and assist in training & development of manufacturing associates.
• Maintain compliance with all company rules and regulations using established policies.
• Coordinate all project activity as necessary by the Site Leader and Manufacturing Team Leader.
• Assist with administrative duties and special projects as needed.
• Coach the development of Production Facilitators (PF’s) and oversee and assist with the development of all hourly manufacturing associates.
• Ensure associate attendance is accurate and timely for payroll processing.

Reporting Relationships:
Direct: Reports to the Manufacturing Team Leader
Coordination: Works closely with Manufacturing, Maintenance, HR, and CIT to achieve site goals
Preferable Position Requirements:
Education/ Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years of experience working in a manufacturing supervisory role.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with and lead teams
• Project management skills
• Able to prioritize effectively
• Strong Excel and general computer skills
