Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental provider in delivering quality oral health care to patients. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- X-ray certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in medical documentation and recordkeeping
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
