Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager trainee to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front counter job, having sales attitude, and ensuring excellent customer service.
This job position has potential to be store manager after year based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills
- Organize and maintain store inventory and stock levels
- Manage retail sales activities to meet revenue targets
- Supervise employees, providing guidance and support as needed
- Handle cash transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Set competitive prices for products to drive sales
- Conduct employee orientation sessions and onboarding processes
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar role
- Strong background in retail sales and sales management
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of stock management practices
- Exceptional organizational abilities to maintain store operations efficiently
