Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team for our Summer Preschool Program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment to facilitate the development of young children. This is a great opportunity for teachers looking for a summer job. Our session runs from June 10th-August 24th. Candidates must have the availability between the hours of 7:00-5:30pm. Scheduled shifts are 8 hours.
Duties:
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of each child.
- Be involved in facilitating lesson planning and planning outdoor gross motor activities.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment conducive to learning.
- Provide individualized instruction to each child based on their unique learning needs.
- Manage classroom activities effectively to promote a positive learning experience.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Knowledge of child development and early education theories and practices.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
