Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Candidates should have a solid background in electronics, mechanical engineering, vacuum technology, and basic knowledge Printed Circuit Board technologies. This position is onsite at a customer facility based in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Must live a commutable distance or be willing to relocate to the customer site.

Primary Function:

Responsible to provide elite support services to KLA PCB Territory customers, ensuring all Orbotech systems perform accurately, enabling high customer satisfaction and perception of the value of services received. Reports directly to the assigned District Manager.

Skill Requirements:

• Work to diagnose and solve Pneumatic, Vacuum, Electronic (AC and DC), and Computer issues to the component level.
• Must have solid understanding of WinNT, Win XP, Win7 & 10, Linux, as well as MS Office products.
• Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• An adaptable approach to working hours, locations, and conditions.
• A flexible approach to work responsibilities, enabling both independent and team working.
• Ability to work alone or unsupervised for extended period, often in difficult conditions.
• A detailed and logical approach to problem solving.
• Extensive travel required to support the customer as the need arise.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide service support to customers encompassing system commissioning, system breakdown repairs, and preventative maintenance support.
• Generate a close working relationship with the customers to enable the company to sell its product portfolio.
• Accurate completion of all field reports.
• Represent KLA Company culture and values in a respectable manner.

Requirements:

• Work autonomously
• Travel required to support the customer base as required. Estimated travel is 50-60%
• Lifting 50 lbs. frequently, which occasionally may be lifting material over your head
• Bend from the waist
• Lift items overhead safely

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree and 2 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years

Base Pay Range: $25.87 - $44.00 Per Hour

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed above reflects the minimum and maximum pay for this position in the primary location identified in this posting. Actual pay depends on several factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education level or training. KLA’s total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits identified below.
