Job SummaryResearch Assistant/Clinic Coordinator: Coordinate the day-to-day administration of an academic medical center eating disorders program. Oversee screening and scheduling of research participants and clinic patients. Assist in the assessment of these cases through in-person interviews and administration of paper-and-pencil questionnaires. Develop database, perform data entry, schedule cases with therapists, attend program team meetings and assist in the write-up of research data.

  • Assist in the assessment of these cases through in-person interviews and administration of paper-and-pencil questionnaires.
  • Develop database, perform data entry, schedule cases with therapists, attend program team meetings and assist in the write-up of research data.
  • Perform specific protocol procedures (specimens and data management, survey/questionnaire administration and the like) required to conduct the study and retain research subjects.
  • Understands protocols and may collect information about adverse events (AEs), identified in the protocol or investigator brochure.
  • Prepares for or participate in quality assurance audits under supervision or following specific protocol procedures.
  • Participates in study-related documentation, such as protocol worksheets, procedural manuals, adverse event reports, institutional review board documents, or progress reports.
  • Performs other related work as needed.
Education:Minimum QualificationsMinimum requirements include vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field (not typically required to have a four-year degree).
Work Experience:Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through < 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
Certifications:Preferred QualificationsEducation:
  • Bachelors degree in a related field.
Experience:
  • Previous research experience.
  • Experience working with individuals Eating Disorders.
Technical Skills Or Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Access and Word.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
