We are seeking a Front Desk & Reservations Associate who will be instrumental in managing both reservations and front desk operations, providing a seamless experience for our guests from the first phone call to check-out.

Job Description:

The Front Desk & Reservations Associate will handle the dual responsibilities of managing room bookings and serving as the face of our inn at the front desk. This role is crucial for creating an exceptional first impression and ensuring efficient and effective guest service throughout their stay.

Responsibilities:

- Operate the front desk during assigned shifts, providing outstanding guest service, including check-in/check-out, guest inquiries, and handling any guest issues.

- Answer incoming calls and assist guests with room reservations, providing detailed information about availability, rates, and amenities.

- Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications promptly and accurately.

- Inform guests about the inn’s facilities, services, and local attractions.

- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and address any guest concerns.

- Manage billing and payment transactions efficiently.

- Maintain updated knowledge of the inn’s offerings, seasonal promotions, and special packages.

- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction

Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

- Familiarity with phone systems and hotel software is a plus

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle situations calmly and professionally

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality industry practices
