Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Assessor to join our team. As a Clinical Assessor, you will play a vital role in evaluating and assessing patients' behavioral health needs and providing appropriate care. This position requires expertise in patient care, telehealth, clinical counseling, data collection, and medical terminology.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' behavioral health needs
- Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote assessments and counseling sessions
- Collect and analyze data to monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Provide clinical counseling and support to patients with developmental disabilities
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, including ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical assessment or a related role
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices and interventions
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
