Job Description

THE POSTION

Seeking a passionate, experienced instructional designer who can create, deliver, and oversee educational materials for employee growth or career development. The candidate must have a foundational understanding of instructional design models that produce impactful, measurable results, such as increased employee engagement and improved retention. They must also be able to foster a collaborative, productive learning environment that captures the audience’s attention and helps them meet their development end goals.

OBJECTIVES

  • Create immersive educational experiences for the audience
  • Use core instructional design principles and theories to maximize learning 
  • Provide interactive activities and educational resources 
  • Maintain projects and organize course documents 
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts for lesson planning
  • Assess student progress and align the content with their needs

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and assess learning objectives
  • Research and implement new technologies into instruction
  • Create engaging eLearning courses, ILT materials, and manage the development of learning experiences
  • Evaluate existing instructional content and keep up to date
  • Develop a cohesive, relevant curriculum by partnering with the Director of Learning & Development

Qualifications

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of training experience; experience in healthcare field is a plus
  • In-depth understanding of instructional design models and learning theories 
  • Ability to navigate learning management systems
  • Proficiency in course development software Articulate Storyline/Rise 360
  • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Clear and effective curriculum-planning skills 
  • Basic understanding of HTML
  • Strong project management skills 
  • PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

    The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.

    Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $67,500 to $94,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
