RESPONSIBILITIES

• Package finished products into bags or bulk containers using semi-automated packaging equipment.
• Transport and load finished products using an industrial lift truck.
• Spot railroad cars and locate them at appropriate position utilizing a mechanized rail car mover.
• Perform minor maintenance duties on packaging equipment.
• Brace and place tonnage for all railroad cars and trucks.
• Replace baghouse filters as required by Maintenance Schedule.
• Receive and stock shipping pallets and product bags.
• Inventory of packaging supplies and finished products.
• Daily housekeeping for Packaging Area.
• Operation of Ink Jet Printing System, Automated Palletizer and Stretch Wrapper.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Warehouse or Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Satisfactory completion of all defined self-study and Process Specific training requirements for the Packer Classification.
• Satisfactory completion of On-the-Job Training requirements
• Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Systems training (ISO9000 / 14001), GMP and Responsible Care Training.
