NSC Technologies, LLC is Hiring a Production Manager Near Chesapeake, VA

The Production Manager is the principal point of contact for trades, and is responsible for following.

Key Responsibilities

· Assigning manpower and priorities

· Coordinates and interacts with customer representatives

· Executing contracts IAW customer requirements

· Writing condition found reports

· Communicating manning requirements and challenges with the Production Manager

· Progressing/updating production schedules

· Attends on sight production meetings

· Monitors jobsite progression

· Communicates tooling, equipment and subcontractor needs to the purchasing manager

· Keeps a daily record/log of project details, communications and concerns

· Takes immediate action with any safety, quality, personnel or productivity issues or concerns

· Reviews timecards for accuracy prior to submittal

· Converses with the production manager prior to authorizing overtime to trade supervision

· Accomplishes ship-checks and assists with preparing estimates when needed

· Coordinates subcontractor efforts (paint, insulation, rigging, staging etc)

· Reviews subcontractor progress invoices for accuracy

· Ensures trades have required technical resources on site (specs, DWGs, waf, HW/CP tickets)

· Communicates man hour budgets to trade supervisors

· Explores opportunities to gain efficiencies in production

Knowledge and Ability:

-Must have knowledge of total job assignment and sequence of performance - Knowledge of shipboard systems and components

- 5-7 years experience -Ability to read and interrupt complex specification and understand relationship of components
