Suburban Cowboys is Hiring a Remote Home Buying Specialist

Job Summary

Suburban Cowboys, a boutique development & investment company, is seeking an All-Star closer who finds joy and life in selling (problem-solving). We need your expertise in prospecting & closing deals! Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who thrives with little oversight and has a proven track record of making $100k per year in previous sales roles.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • CORE KPI Responsibilities Weekly: 150 calls, 10 offers, 6hrs talk time
  • Respond to and follow up with leads provided
  • Create, maintain, and manage an active pipeline of business — the fortune is in the follow-up!
  • Prospect and develop new leads through various means
  • Keep an accurate account of daily activities: calls made, appointments set, results, etc.
  • Provide consistent and constructive feedback to the team on how marketing is connecting with sellers
  • Reach agreed-upon sales targets by the deadline
  • Be an expert problem solver and deal-maker
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep clients aware of the latest developments
  • Create sales material to present to customers

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in sales is a must (Insurance, SaaS, Bill Collection, Car Sales, Real Estate, etc.)
  • Adept with technology — specifically CRM, Google Docs, apps, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiating skills
  • Driven by big goals
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • You will be required to sign an NDA and a non-compete

  • Great communicator: Quickly and easily build rapport with people. Has some personality and the gift of gab.
  • Confident: Someone who’s had some success and experience, and has lots of self-confidence.
  • Coachable: Can listen to feedback and adjust accordingly.
  • Competitive
  • Charming: Use charm to disarm.
  • Capable: Organized enough to stay on top of following-up with leads and showing up on time to appointments.
  • Considerate: You really care about the client and want to do right by them.
  • Cash Hungry: Have a lot of drive to burst through any fear or obstacle, get on the phone and talk to prospective clients, and make a great income.
  • Clever: Clever in terms of deal-making with clients, structuring, presenting, and closing deals. Not a deep thinker, but an action taker!

Pay and Hours

This is a full time position that is sales based. "Office Hours" are M-F 8am-5pm CST. As with many sales roles, this position may require occasional attention on nights and weekends. For example: Setting an appointment with a seller who can only be home on a Saturday or contacting a lead after 6pm when their work shift is over.
This is a "do what it takes to get the job done" role.

  • Base Runway Salary (first 5 months): $2,000/mo
  • Commission: $100,000
  • Benefits: Negotiable

We are a boutique development & investment company with a tight team. We build & sell, fix & flip, and buy & hold rental properties in Nashville and Chattanooga. Come have some fun with us!
