The Supplier Quality Engineer I for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for improving supplier quality for purchased components.This position is part of the Supplier Quality department located in Chaska Minnesota and will be onsite. In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Execution of daily supplier management actions to improve supplier performance
- Disposition nonconforming material and develop plans to prevent recurrence
- Primary supplier quality representative for root cause and corrective action analysis regarding supplier caused manufacturing issues
- Update supplier material control plans and incoming material inspection plan
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science field
- 0-2 years experience
- Ability to read and understand specifications on engineering drawings
- Investigation skills to determine if components are nonconforming
- Technical writing skills to document investigation results
- Functional experience in supplier management in an FDA or other regulated industry
- Knowledge of GDT
- Experience with sampling plans and measurement systems
