The Financial Systems Analyst position will be responsible for the continuous support of the accounting and financial systems and for collaborating, creating and maintain reporting needs from the financial systems.

Essential Job Functions

Financial Systems

·Responsible for the day-to-day support and ongoing processes and functions of all general ledger, accounts payables or related accounting software(s).

·Review monthly interfaces across applications, including providing recommendations to reduce repetitive tasks.

·Manages systems development, upgrades, and enhancements; taking ownership of software implementations and upgrades as necessary.

·Serve as a technical resource to the software user community within Accounting and outside Accounting.

·Support process improvement through the identification, verification and documentation of data source management processes, as well as development of associated action plans.

·Create and maintain process documentation.

·Troubleshoot systems issues and document their resolution.

·Collaborate with software system vendors to understand new functionality, design and implement system changes.

·Respond to report requests or needs through developing and producing new reports from financial systems

·Testing and reconciling data.

·Maintain assigned PowerBI Dashboards.

·Maintain assigned modules or functions within payroll system.

·Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Financial Analysis

·Collaborate with functional area experts, particularly accounting and finance, on deployment of improved monthly and annual reporting process for Leadership.

·Create consistent templates and reports across all accounting functions - A/P, financial reporting, compliance reporting, budgeting, and payroll.

·Support process improvement through the identification, verification and documentation of data source management processes, as well as development of associated action plans.

·Engage with accounting and finance system users to define reporting needs. Create basic reports and partner with report writer experts on creation of more complicated reports.

·The ability to take ownership of the project, report timing progress, and providing recommendations is critical.

·Gather & document requirements for finance project initiation.

·Create consistent trend reporting with detailed analysis, graphs, images, or other written communication to accounting and C-suite Leadership.

·Assist with model of refinancing or initial financing opportunities.

·Create measurable data point reports from software resources and track application of distributed reports, reporting application of trends to Leadership.

·Provide information and assistance to customers, , and ensure the solution provided satisfies the customers' expectations.

·In providing data, validates the accuracy and reliability of the data and communicates any concerns to management and the customer as appropriate.

·Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.

·

·This position will work on special projects, as well as assisting the accounting staff during budget and audit seasons as needed.

Knowledge and Critical Skills

·Be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.

·Responsible for understanding, preparing supporting documentation, leading projects and/or participating in key areas of the department, as assigned by the Controller.

·Create consistent trend reporting for Senior or Executive Leadership with detailed analysis notes.

·Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while prioritizing and meeting deadlines.

·Knowledge/proficiency of SQL, Microsoft Office Suite, Accounting or ERP systems, and GAAP

Education and Experience

·Four year accounting degree, or equivalent experience with accounting and systems management

·Financial modeling

·Database and trend report creation

·7 years of related financial accounting experience with a healthcare emphasis.

·Preferred experience in MRI software, project management, software implementation.

·Management or property company experience

·Full cycle accounting or public accounting experience

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have any direct reports or supervisory requirements.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Tasks assigned to this position may involve potential and/or direct exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, air contaminants, and hazardous chemicals.

Physical Requirements - The Physical activities of this position involve:

·Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

·Must be able to minimally lift 15 pounds at times

·Ability to move throughout the office

Cognitive Requirements - The Cognitive activities with or without prosthetics of this position are:

·Executes tasks independently

·Communicate in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors and team members.

·Ability to express yourself clearly and effectively

·Proficient computer literacy

Environmental Requirements - An individual in this position may be exposed to:

·Ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment

·Able to work flexible hours as needed
