The Boar's Head Resort is Hiring a Golf Course Maintenance (Seasonal) Near Charlottesville, VA
The Boar's Head Resort is now accepting application for seasonal Golf Course Maintenance Workers to join our Birdwood Golf team! As a Birdwood Maintenance Team Member, you will be responsible for a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction.
Some essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Mow greens, tees, fairways and roughs.
- Rake and edge sand bunkers.
- Change cups and pin locations, while re-locating tee markers.
- Hand water greens and tees.
- Weed eat and weed flower beds.
- Dig holes and trenches.
- Rake, blow and pick-up leaves.
- Empty trash and clean work areas.
- Assist with irrigation maintenance.
In order to be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
- Ability to learn how to operate golf course maintenance equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends and nights if needed.
- Previous golf course maintenance experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of the game of golf (preferred).
