Full Stack Developer (Onsite)

Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Full Stack Developer

Job Location: Charlotte, NC or New York (Onsite)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• 3-7 years of overall experience
• Design and implementation of scalable software solutions using Core Java and J2EE.
• Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services to improve application functionality.
• Apply Hibernate for efficient database management and data retrieval.
• Ensure the integration of REST APIs for flawless communication between different software components.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues.
• Implement to standard methodologies in coding and design to enhance software performance.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in software development.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and chip in to their growth.
• Work closely with the project management team to meet work you're doing.
• Ensure software compliance with security protocols and data protection standards.
• Optimize existing software applications for improved performance and scalability.
• candidate will have a strong background in Core Java, Hibernate, J2EE, and web services, with a preference for those with experience in the Cards & Payments domain.
• This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software that meets our client needs.
• Perform Java development activities and build REST API’s that are used by several teams.
• Perform POC or equivalent experience’s to prove the concepts work.
• Represent the team in meetings with other projects.
• Supervise the system performance by performing regular tests, fixing and integrating new features.
• Recommend solutions to improve new and existing design.
• Participate in Code review meetings.
• Supervise Code quality and consistently strive for improvement.
• Educate staff members through training and individual support.
• Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.

Understand and document data flows in and between different systems/applications.

Qualifications:

• Shown experience in Core Java, Hibernate, J2EE, Rest API, REST Web Services, SOAP, and XML is required.
• RESTAPI creation
• Java 11 or Java 17, Spring Framework, Spring boot
• Microservice
• Typescript, Angular, JavaScript, CSS (Tailwind CSS, PostCSS and Sass), HTML
• AWS
• Nice to have: SQL, Oracle, MongoDB

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 06/23/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $32,900 – $97,800 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
