Audiologist job summary
Our multi location sinus and sleep disorder medical practice is in search of an experienced Audiologist who can provide our patients with support, guidance, testing and device fitting daily. We operate a highly patient-focused clinic where all staff members devote every second of the work day to making our patients lives better. We treat patients between the ages of birth and 99 years, though we occasionally continue to see adults who are physically or developmentally impaired. The Audiologist will consult with the Staff Providers as well as outside consults to determine the best treatment plan for the patient and will make him or herself available to the patients family for questions and concerns.
Audiologist responsibilities
Perform audiogram, OAE, and tympanogram testing on pediatric and adult patients
Conduct auditory evoked potential assessments for patients when required to do so by a staff physician or outside health care professional
Assess the hearing sensitivity and quality for patients and provide patients and parents with information regarding the results
Dispense assistive listening devices, such as hearing aids, to patients in need of help
Fit assistive listening devices based on the patients physiology and other needs
Consult with physicians and outside professionals about each patients future needs and current progress
Update medical records based on ongoing evaluations of each patient
