Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

Job Role and Responsibility: Partner with architects and infrastructure engineers to design a hybrid platform to support the current and strategic business load and delivery of Microservices, support new product capabilities as well as Enterprise integrations and composite patterns for business services; Lead, partner, mentor, develop, and engineer, with our internal IT teams to develop and deliver highly reusable configuration-driven business services and capabilities; Lead improvements for the Lightweight Workflow platform to improve the consumability and usability of the Alfresco Process Services, Activiti, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Kafka, and related business services and capabilities; Actively engage in research and discovery of new products (vendor products, open source solutions, and custom-build products) to Proof of Concept/Technology efforts to introduce complementary tools and capabilities; Drive the strategic and tactical roll-out of the Enterprise solution to all customers and employees by emphasizing Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development techniques as well as documenting, testing, and incorporating automated testing processes within the SecDevOps practices while optimizing platform performance, availability, reliability, and scalability by implementing and tuning instrumentation of Key Performance Indicators; Partner with Platform Support team to maintain platform compliance by following operational procedures and remediate vulnerabilities as required; Provide level 3 production support for issues raised by either end user/automated monitors. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Developer, IT/Programmer Analyst, or in a related position involving application development and implementation experience.

Specific skills required:

• 5 years of experience with Hibernate; Java; JSON; Maven; Selenium; Dynatrace; Junit; microservices; Apache Kafka; GIT; infrastructure architecture disciplines; Jenkins; SOAP and REST Webservices; Apache Tomcat; J2EE; Linux; software development; SQL, and XML

• 1 year of experience with Gradle, Elastic Logstash Kibana (ELK), Log4j, Activiti 5 and 7, Alfresco Process Services, Karate, OAuth, Performance testing, and Cucumber

• 1 year of experience with Cloud Services (Azure, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or Google)

• 1 year of experience with Docker
