Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid) or Remote (East Coast.
Duration: 1 year (Renewable).
Experience: Minimum 5 years (More experience is acceptable for this analyst role).
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in identifying single sign-on solutions, database security, and possess the Sec certification. While CISSP certification is valuable, it may be considered overkill for this role. Additionally, having PMP certification is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and implement single sign-on solutions to enhance security measures.
- Assess and enhance database security protocols to safeguard sensitive data.
- Utilize Sec certification knowledge to strengthen overall security infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Assist with the management and maintenance of application portfolios, including software, off-the-shelf applications, and third-party SaaS solutions.
- Navigate and provide support for commercial or developed applications, helping the Splunk team with process optimization.
- Analyze and identify systems, APIs, and databases within the portfolio for security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain application portfolio structures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a security analyst role; additional experience is acceptable.
- Proficiency in identifying and implementing single sign-on solutions.
- Strong understanding of database security principles and best practices.
- Sec certification required; CISSP certification is a plus.
- PMP certification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience with application portfolio management and structure.
- Knowledge of software, off-the-shelf applications, and third-party SaaS solutions.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
