We are seeking a Medical Assistant in the Charleston, WV area to work in an established Dermatology practice. This is a full-time permanent position. Monday - Friday clinic hours. Prior dermatology MA experience is required.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients, triage, obtain/document medical history and chief complaint in EMR
• Document allergies and medications and obtain informed consent from patients
• Scribe and assist provider during exams and procedures
• Assist in medical procedures
• Prescription management
• Patient call backs with pathology results/schedule excisions
• Prior Authorizations and Biologics
• Clean and restock exam rooms/assist with inventory
• Sterilize Instruments
• Assist with any administrative duties such as answering the phone, patient questions and scheduling
