Description
SAIC is seeking an Cloud Solutions Architect to support SAIC’s Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA.Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.
Responsibilities to include:
- Translate strategic architectures into implementation level guidance
- Ability to assess ongoing work and deliver desired solutions
- Guide complex projects/issues that require in-depth cloud solution integration
- Work with delivery team to address architecture, integration, and technical issues, and in some instances lead the technical implementation of the solution architecture
- Ability to work with development teams and advise on practical cloud implementations and develop findings and workoff plans
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s and 9 years of experience (13 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree)
- Active Top Secret/SCI with a Polygraph
- 5 years of solution architecture experience
- 4 years’ experience leading cloud integration architecture and application modernization
- Strong knowledge of enterprise computing and operating systems (OS) and cloud computing platforms, such as Linux, Windows, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Cloud-based solutions experience leveraging large cloud-computing infrastructure and platforms architecting, engineering, developing and deploying systems and applications into a cloud environment
- Experience with Enterprise projects
