Description
SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to the Irregular Warfare Technical Support Directorate (IWTSD). Support to IWTSD includes supporting the Government Logistics Manager in a wide variety of logistics activities.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Support the full-scope of IWTSD logistics.
·Must have a working knowledge of logistics/transportation systems and documentations that enable materials to enter into U.S. government supply chain, be tracked and exit the supply chain over land, sea, and air.
·Must have a working knowledge of the documentation and elements of a shipment. To include: contracts/procurement orders, invoices, shipping manifests, shipping labels, serialization labels.
·General working knowledge of logistics/transportation systems and documentations that manages the full life cycle of material, from procurement, receipt, loan, inventory, transfer, acceptance, destruction and transfer as Government Furnished Equipment.
·Candidate should have a working knowledge of HAZMAT requirements, the ability to learn/operate basic warehouse material handling equipment, and the ability to follow proper safety protocols in the execution of their duties and operate government vehicles/light duty box trucks to deliver/pickup equipment’s.
·Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, work in office and warehouse environment.
·Candidate will be required to work with other members of the logistics team, as well as internal/external partners to accomplish organizations logistics/transportation and facilities requirements.
·Assist with Office Configuration/Office Facilities Support
·Other Logistics duties as assigned.
·IWTSD logistics is unlike routine offices. Candidate will be oriented with the organization's (IWTSD)-unique systems/processes but will be expected to have preparedness to learn on the job.
·Perform office tasks such as restocking the coffee stations, restocking admin lockers, supporting office configuration changes during special events, and responding to requests from subgroup Program Managers.
Qualifications
·At least 3 years of experience supporting an organizations logistics activities
·High School Diploma
·Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
