SpiriTrust Lutheran® seeks enthusiastic and driven individuals who are interested in obtaining their CNA license.

• Classes will be held at The Village at Kelly Drive and Sprenkle Drive in York, PA.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• $13.00 / hr during training
• Wage after training will be determined based upon previous experience.
• 3.5 week classes (Days 1-10 : in the classroom and lab at The Village at Kelly Drive. Days 11-18 : Clinicals at The Village at Sprenkle Drive).
• Class is Monday through Friday 7 : 00a-3 : 30p, 75 hours per bi-weekly pay
• Next Class Date is July 8, 2024
• Expectation to commit to at least 1 year of Full Time employment at SpiriTrust Lutheran after training is complete and you obtain your CNA license.
• A passion for working with the elderly population and desire to display dignity and compassion is a MUST.

Required :

• Completion of a Commonwealth of PA approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program.
• A passion for serving older adults.

Experience : Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

General Responsibilities :

• Interacts with residents, families and fellow team members in a way that is consistent with our core values of heritage, service, integrity, dignity and stewardship.
• Provides direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living.
• Work as a team with fellow caregivers to meet resident needs in a timely manner.
• Apprise clinical leadership of any changes in a resident’s status.
