General Purpose

We are looking for a Tax Auditor I, responsible for conducting Sales and Use Tax Compliance Audits, issuing tax assessments, and collecting unpaid taxes. In this role, you will also educate taxpayers on their tax obligations and offer methodologies for improved compliance. Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range for this position is $29.4823 - $37.0332

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with major coursework in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field and at least one year of professional auditing experience is required. Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's License. An equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
