Your day-to-dayThe Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities for this position make up your day-to-day. They include the following tasks below.
- Essential Functions
- Warmly and professionally greet all guests, addressing any inquiries and ensuring their needs are met.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms and public areas according to established standards.
- Demonstrate a keen eye for detail in performing tasks such as bed-making, dusting, vacuuming, and bathroom cleaning.
- Maintain, clean and stock the housekeeping closets and carts, contributing to an organized work environment.
- Respect guest privacy, including guest belongings, with a high degree of integrity.
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment as necessary.
- Promptly and effectively handles guest requests and complaints, seeking solutions that align with the hotel's policies.
- Job Responsibilities
- Complete assigned rooms within the allocated time frame, maintaining a balance between speed and thoroughness in order to ensure rooms are ready upon check-in time.
- Communicating effectively and fostering positive relationships with all other colleagues to coordinate tasks and address any issues.
- Attending work on time as scheduled and adhering to attendance policy.
- Understanding and following processes and procedures for documentation and communication of important information.
- Guest Service Scores regarding Overall Guest Room Experience, Cleanliness: Room, Overall Guest Bathroom Experience.
- Achieves and maintains high scores in regular room inspections, ensuring rooms are well-stocked with amenities and linens as well as compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be available to work morning shifts
- Must be available to work on weekends & holidays
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for an entire shift or for an extended amount of time; use hands to feel or handle and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is frequently required to walk, bend, sit, climb, or balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
