Reporting into the Plant Manager, the Quality Lead will be based out of New Castle, DE and will be responsible for ensuring the generation of accurate, timely and cost-effective analytical data used to support quality control decision making. This role involves overseeing scheduling, monitoring capacity, and reporting on Key Performance Indicators. Responsibilities Implements safety policies in the QA Lab as required in the Plant Safety Procedures. Reviews safety performance and promotes continuous improvement within company personnel. Manage the workflow in the QA Lab with efficient execution and direction of quality testing processes and procedures. Ensure timely release of approved Finished Goods for sales in compliance with the shipping schedule. Conduct internal audits for compliance and drive compliance with the internal audit schedule. Ensure good working order and calibration of analytical testing equipment. Maintain customer product specifications and assist in evaluation of new customer specifications. Provide support to R&D and technical support as needed. Assist in proper investigations, development and implementation of correction actions of customer complaints. Provide administrative support and training for the Qualtrax document management system. Required Experience Minimum of high school diploma or G.E.D or equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills. Preferred Experience Supply Chain Management or a related field is a plus. At least 1 year in a leadership/supervisory position.
