PLACERS is Hiring an Accountant (Part-time) Near Castle, DE
We seek a skilled part-time Accountant to join our client in New Castle, DE. The selected candidate will oversee financial operations in this role while utilizing QuickBooks Desktop software.
About this position:
This is a part-time position, requiring 15 hours of work per week, with the occasional need to work up to 20 hours. The work is on-site only, providing a great work environment within a cozy office.
What experience must you have and what you will be doing:
- managing memorized transactions
- preparing and refining Profit and Loss statements
- overseeing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- reconciling financial statements
- efficiently managing the process of requesting and tracking certificates of insurance.
- responsibilities encompass tax report preparation
- revising specialized contracts
- handling email correspondence
- managing some selected phone calls

Must have Requirements:
-Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant for a multi-entity company.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing memorized transactions, financial statements, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks - DESKTOP VERSION
- Experience in AP and AR processes.
- familiarity with monthly and quarterly tax reporting.
