Walker's Bluff Casino Resort is Hiring a Cosmetologist Near Carterville, IL
The licensed Cosmetologist is responsible for performing professional services of cutting, coloring, styling, scalp and facial treatments, manicures, and pedicures.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for successfully cutting, coloring, styling, scalp and facial treatments, manicures, and pedicures to meet the expectations of each guest.
- Perform guest consultation and post treatment recommendations with the ability to educate guests on products and home regimens.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Conduct inventory and maintain and organize an appropriate par level of supplies.
- Responsible for assisting with phone sales, facility tours, service scheduling, and other Spa duties as necessary.
- Must demonstrate excellent time management skills and a fun, energetic, courteous, and professional demeanor.
Required
- Must possess an active Illinois Cosmetology certification and be in good standing.
- Accurately perform cutting, coloring, styling, scalp and facial treatments, manicures, and pedicures with an exceptionally high-level of success.
- Has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
Schedule
Full or Part-Time; varies based on appointments and includes holidays and weekends.
Salary
Starts at $14.50 per hour PLUS commission and additional 20-40 hours PTO after 90 days.
