Global Wind Service is Hiring a Sales Coordinator Near Carrollton, TX

Position Summary:

  • Partners with Sales Managers on outgoing bids
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through sales service
  • Partners with Operations in sales, negotiations, and project delivery


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partners with sales managers and legal team for contract negotiations
  • Assists with implementation of sales goals set by Sales Director and Sales Managers
  • Assists with preparation of quotations
  • Analyze commercial contracts
  • Handling administrative duties of the quotation and negotiation process
  • Contributes to the internal structure and sales process to ensure customer-focus and a proactive sales effort and approach
  • Understanding commercial conditions and consequences of contracts
  • Participates in internal coordination, handover, and partnership with Operations from project negotiation through project conclusion
  • Maintain positive customer relations
  • Develops effective means of communication with associates at all levels across the business to build a relationship of trust and respect
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Flexibility to travel up to 20%
  • Flexibility to work overtime hours on weekly basis
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
  • B.S. degree in business or related field highly preferred
  • At least three years of progressive sales work experience
  • At least one year of construction or wind industry experience preferred
  • Results focus to set goals, deliver results consistently, take action to achieve targets, and overcome obstacles
  • Knowledge of operations management to understand how this integrates into overall business and financial planning
  • Must have the ability to establish credibility and trust in relationships with customers, team members and clients
  • Strong PC skills, with proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel & Project
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external personnel.
  • Detail oriented, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and research skills.
  • Able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment and display a sense of urgency.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Function with little supervision. Be an effective team player.
  • High energy, self-motivated, service-oriented and ethical with a high degree of integrity


Working Conditions and Environment

  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to move around the office up to 20% of the time to make copies, fax, file, etc.
  • This position operates computers and other office productivity machines (e.g., fax machine, copier, printer, etc.) on a regular basis. This position must be able to inspect and observe information on a computer screen at least 80% of the time.
  • This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • This position requires constant communication and exchange of information with the Company’s employees, clients, vendors and/or contractors.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
