Swiss American CDMO is Hiring an Inventory Cycle Counter Near Carrollton, TX

Position Summary: The Cycle Counter plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting regular physical counts of inventory items, identifying discrepancies and assisting with resolution, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. Your commitment to detail and data integrity will directly support our production processes and overall business success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Executes accurate and efficient daily inventory counts.
  • Recognize and read rack locations, dates, and material product codes.
  • Communicate and address products found to be improperly stored, damaged, or non-saleable.
  • Manage and maintain inventory accuracy of 99%.
  • Report Inventory discrepancies and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Record data on check sheets and/or the warehouse management system.
  • Look up materials and locations within current inventory management system.
  • Utilize tabletop and floor scales.
  • Track performance scorecard: Inventory % completion, expired material, and inventory adjustments.
  • Support annual physical inventory.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
  • Other duties may be assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least 6 months of related experience
  • Material handling equipment experience required
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with inventory management software or barcode scanners
  • Proficient in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and multiplication
  • Strong ability to focus on repetitive tasks and identify inconsistencies or errors in inventory data.
  • Strong oral and written English skills for clear communication with colleagues and supervisors
  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory counts and system records.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management System is a plus
