Mphasis Digital Risk is Hiring a Technical Project Manager Near Carrollton, TX

Mphasis Digital Risk (DR) is searching for a Technical Project Manager that will serve as a liaison between the clients, and the technical teams within the Mphasis DR IT Operations Delivery Team. This role is part of the Implementation and Next Generation team for hosted applications. You will also be the technology lead to ensure all IT Systems are operational, performant, and projects are delivered on time for the organization.

These clients will require continual updates to the application to adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements as well as process improvements. This person will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, and managing the client’s needs and must learn / have expertise of the respective client’s product.

As part of the Implementation and Next Generation team, this role is expected to learn all the aspects of the application.

  • This is a client facing position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage multiple ongoing Project Plans across the Mphasis DR IT Delivery team.
  • Meet and manage project deliverables to high quality standards, budget and timelines.
  • Manage overlapping priorities, resource constraints, and client visible deadlines.
  • Track status of service delivery client projects and serve as a subject matter expert on project management for internal teams.
  • Provide upfront support to streamline the process to launch new service delivery projects as needed.
  • Organize and facilitate regular internal and external meetings.
  • Responsible for service delivery project management tools and templates.
  • Ability to work well with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations. Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
  • Manage daily operations of Change Management and assess and address technical risks throughout.
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the projects to all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate all development, testing, and deployment of product updates into the appropriate environments and Production as scheduled with the clients.
  • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation, including release notes.
  • Availability for on-call 24/7 support or as needed for off normal business hours for support.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of seven (7) to (10) ten years working as a Project Manager.
  • PMP Certification required.
  • Four-year college diploma or university degree in business, information systems or similar, and/or 10 years equivalent work experience.
  • Background in third-party integration using APIs, B2B protocols, sFTP, etc.
  • Experience leading development teams operating within the Agile framework
  • Must be proficient in MS tools and applications: MS Project, Office, Visio, SharePoint
  • Ability to learn IT based tools and application quickly
  • Experienced in client facing communication
  • Mortgage industry knowledge desired but not required
  • Excellent organizational skills. Experience of prioritizing own workload, the ability to self-manage under pressure to produce accurate work and meet deadlines
  • Good oral and written communication skills including competent writing skills, experience of producing accurate and concise documentation and communications, including but not limited to:
  • change requirement documentation
  • process documentation
  • release notes
  • Ability to present information clearly and concisely so that it easily understood by a variety of audiences.
  • Quantitative mindset and analytic capabilities
  • Ability to understand and interpret data accurately and effectively
  • Consistently pays attention to detail
  • Ability to comprehend instructions and details but willing to question in order to clarify requirements
  • Confident in ability and judgment and willing to take the lead and be personally accountable
  • Proven adaptability and flexibility, enthusiastic to new ideas and approaches
  • Strong determination to succeed, whilst maintaining tact and diplomacy, even when faced with challenges and obstacles
  • Ability to pass client’s background investigation, as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
