Shop Manager

Overview:

Join our team as a Shop Manager and lead a dynamic shop environment. As the Shop Manager, you will oversee daily operations, dispatch field mechanics and shop empolyees.

Duties:

- Manage all aspects of the shop's operations, diagnostics of equipment, including inventory management, parts ordering and pricing, and staff supervision.
- Utilize retail math skills to reduce overhead costs and optimize stock parts levels.
- Lead a team of mechanics by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and maintain healthy stock levels.
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with customers, suppliers, and team members.
- Deliver top-notch customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Implement recruiting strategies to hire qualified staff members who align with the shop's values.
- Stay informed about market trends and competition to make informed business decisions.

Experience:

- Proven experience in shop operations and handling diagnostics accurately.
- Strong background in parts to make informed pricing decisions.
- Previous experience in stock management to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable deals with suppliers.
- Proficient in phone etiquette for effective communication within the team.
- Exceptional customer service skills to create a positive experience for team members.
- Experience in recruiting and training staff members to build a high-performing team.
