Albertsons Market is Hiring a GM CLERK Near Carlsbad, NM
General Merchandise Clerks are first and foremost responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. He/She will perform shelf stocking, spill clean-up, general housekeeping, and other General Merchandise duties as may be assigned by General Merchandise Manager.
- Key Responsibilities:
- When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest
- Follows daily work schedule as assigned by General Merchandise Manager
- Performs ordering, stocking and rotation duties in accordance with instruction from the General Merchandise Manager to ensure safety, convenience and value for guests and other team members
- Maintains stock levels; keeps shelves full of ad merchandise and items kept in back stock
- Ensures quality and consistent product availability and solutions to our guests
- Must be attentive at all times to needs of guests and be ready and able to direct/take guest to items in question
- Must be attentive to guest flow and be flexible to move from one activity to another quickly as dictated by guestsPerforms other duties as requested or required by management
- Key Requirements:
- Ability to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner
- Ability to operate all ordering and stocking equipment
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. and push and pull up to 100 lbs.
- Be able to perform all other physical aspects of the position including but not limited to bending, squatting, standing, lifting at a height of 5 feet, climbing, pushing, pulling, and walking
- Must be flexible to work various hours/shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitudeAbility to function as a team member and get along with others
