Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to complete construction and excavation projects. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, dump trucks, and semi dump trailers.
- Perform tasks such as digging, grading, and leveling land
- Safely operate equipment to move materials, load trucks, and transport materials on construction sites
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times
Skills:
- Strong experience in equipment operation, including bulldozers, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and horizontal drilling equipment
- Proficient in using Caterpillar machinery and familiar with mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation
- Commercial driving experience with a valid CDL driver's license
- Ability to operate heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
