Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine OSSM is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Canaan, CT

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant at Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine (OSSM) located in New Canaan, CT. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing various day-to-day tasks, including but not limited to assisting with patient care, managing medical records, scheduling appointments and surgeries, and providing support in the medical office.

Qualifications

  • Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology skills
  • Experience in a medical office setting
  • Knowledge of patient care procedures
  • Proficiency in managing medical records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience in orthopaedic surgery or sports medicine is a plus
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred
