Position: Laundry Attendant PT
Department: Hotel
Wage: 16.00/hr.
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall activities of all CCCH linens, towels, uniforms, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:
- Supports Housekeeping by fulfilling laundry responsibilities to include but not be limited to:
- Comforters, micro towels, bed scarfs, and pool towels linens, blankets pillows and uniforms.
- Keep laundry room products: Ecolab detergents, spot cleaners, and chemicals inventoried and stocked. Report to housekeeping manager or supervisor of low inventory to be ordered.
- Keep laundry area clean from debris and check water vent to ensure free flow (to prevent flooding).
- Ensure dryer filters are clean and free from debris and lint build up.
- Clean restrooms and other areas, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education: High School diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
2. Work Experience:
a. 1-year previous laundry/ housekeeping experience required
3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
a. Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
b. Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.
c. Be computer literate.
4. Be at least 18 years of age.
5. Able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.
