Position Title: Tax Attorney

Location: Camp Hill, PA

Reports To: Partner, COO

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of tax law and regulations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic tax planning and advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax Compliance: Ensure the company and its clients comply with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the company and its clients tax liabilities and optimize financial performance.
• Advisory Services: Provide expert advice on tax-related issues, including mergers and acquisitions, financial structuring, and other tax matters.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and review tax returns and other tax-related documentation. Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax documents.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on tax laws, regulations, and case law. Analyze the impact of new tax laws and provide recommendations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the internal partners to ensure cohesive and effective tax planning and compliance for the firm and its clients.
• Training and Development: Stay updated with the latest developments in tax law and provide training to internal teams on tax-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensure: Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania. Additional certification in tax law (LLM in Taxation) is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a tax attorney, preferably in a corporate or law firm setting.

• Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excel in client interactions, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to exceptional service.
• Strong negotiation and representation skills.
• Proficiency in tax research tools and software, specifically tax preparation software.

Work Environment:

• Candidate will work out of our Camp Hill, PA office, with frequent visits to our office in Wyomissing, PA

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary range between $80,000-$100,000- based on experience
