Southport Engineered Systems is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales

JOB TITLE: Inside Sales
DEPARTMENT: Residential Service
DESCRIPTION: The Inside Sales is responsible for managing incoming leads, sold leads, establishing and maintaining client relationships, and marketing to Southport club members and future clients. An important part of this position will be making multiple outbound calls per day to our current and future customers. Become part of the growing Southport team with continual professional development, coaching and education!
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Generate appointments and sales for Southport Home Services products & services by converting inbound inquires to sales, and making multiple outbound calls
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Perform accurate and efficient data entry in our systems
  • Answer incoming sales calls and assist clients with scheduling appointments and other inquirers
  • Makes sales recommendations for products and/or services
  • Provide weekly reports on progress to the Sales Manager
  • Create & post daily content for all our social media platforms
  • Help design and promote current marketing promotions
  • Perform follow-up calls with existing customers and outstanding estimates
  • Build relationships with clients and convert inbound leads
  • Participate in lead generating company events and home shows
  • Set high personal goals to achieve success in this role by being ambitious and motivated
  • Assist with marketing planning
  • Develop digital marketing content for our social media platforms
  • Perform all other duties assigned to this role
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience selling services to consumers by phone preferred
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to learn and communicate heating and cooling products and services. (HVAC or plumbing experience not required)
  • Organized with attention to detail and goal-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Willing to relocate
