Title: Facilities Assistant (OnSite)Location-Calabasas, CAExperience: 1 to 5 yearsVisa: GC or USC onlyJob Responsibilities
  • Perform daily tasks such as touring the facility both inside and outside to ensure that access doors are functioning, rooms are neat and clean, doors are clear of debris including leaves, break area/copier area is stocked, coffee machine is working properly, temperature is normal in the building, and employee work requests are completed timely.
  • Work closely with vendors/contractors for facility services such as consumable deliveries,
equipment repairs, and night-time cleaning services. Escort vendors when onsite for
maintenance/repairs for HVAC, lighting, sensors, sprinklers, mains, extinguishers, plumbing,
drainage system, parking lot, microwaves, refrigerators, etc. Monitor outcomes of these services
and report results to Facilities Manager.
  • Initiate room setup for meetings or other special events.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of building keys.
  • Prepare daily facility progress report and submit it to Facilities Manager.
  • Process all shipping/receiving at site including FedEx documentation and packaging as
necessary.
  • Sort incoming mail.
  • Conduct light maintenance (change light bulbs, untangle copier machine, etc.) or contact
Facilities Manager when needed.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Professional and customer service oriented with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders
and outside vendors.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, as well as work independently.
  • Shipping and Receiving experience preferred.
  • HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical/Carpentry/ or General Construction experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic math aptitude/skills and the ability to do measurements.
  • Previous work with various building trades and contractors is a plus
