Role: Sr. Scientist
Location: Columbus, Ohio - 43219
Duration: 12 Months on W2
Shift Timings: 8 AM to 5 PM
- 100% Onsite role.
- Local candidates will be given preference but will consider those who are willing to relocate at their own expenses.
- Focus on a weight management product
- Tasks include reviewing nutrition labels, assessing promotional claims, and exploring new ingredient innovations
- Day-to-day responsibilities: Review nutrition labels and healthcare claims ; Research and identify new ingredients; Collaborate with cross-functional teams; Interpret and communicate scientific literature; Support clinical studies.
- Preferred candidates should have clinical experience such as working as a registered nurse or registered dietitian in a healthcare setting (e.g., hospital, bariatric clinic) or having experience with clinical studies.
- Master’s or PhD in nutrition is preferred
- Bachelor's degree with significant experience and RD certification considered
- Bachelor’s degree: 1-2 years
- Master’s degree: Less than 1 year
- PhD: New graduate or 1 year
- PhD with extensive industry experience may be considered overqualified
- Advanced nutrition knowledge.
- Registered Dietician.
- Scientific writing skills.
- Phone screening followed by an onsite interview.
